Provincial Flag, Coat of Arms, Flower, and Time Machine

This is the official coat of arms of Prince Edward Island. The motto of PEI is Parva Sub Ingenti.
The province flower is the Lady Slipper. Out of all the flowers in PEI, you can see why this one was chosen to be the official one.
These two pictures are both of Victoria Row. The photo on the left Victoria Row consists of a line of old historic stone buildings which are located on Richmond Street. The street is now crowded with cafes, shops, and craft shops. The buildings are preserved because they are historic monuments and are only seen from the outside because the interior is off limits.

Historical Timeline
In the beginning, PEI was a french colony in 1534. It was called "Ile Saint-Jean".
Around 1745, the English captured the island and changed the name to "Island of St. John".
During the Revolutionary War, Americans captured "The Island of St. John". It was soon released after the war, and the name was changed to '"Prince Edward Island" in order to disassociate the island from other Islands that had the name "John" in it.
In 1873, PEI confederates and joins Canada.
Confederation Bridge is built 1993-1997
